The Lancet, a popular medical journal, has published a study on the maximum dose of covshield vaccine, based on a study.

Accordingly, if the interval between two doses is less than 6 weeks, only 55% of one percent coverage will be available after the booster dose, it said. If the interval is 6 to 8 weeks then 59.9% coverage and if 9 to 11 weeks the coverage is 63.7 percent.

However, The Lancet says that if the interval between two doses is 12 weeks or more, the coverage will increase to 81.3% .
